2019 Kidding Schedule (Part 1)

I finally was able to find kids on ultrasound! Below is our breeding schedule-of the breedings that have been confirmed. 

(For when you look at the ultrasound pictures-it's the black holes, with a gray form inside that are kids.) 

Minx has been bred to Brody. This ties with Eclipse for my most exciting breeding/kidding for 2019, and I will be keeping doe kids!

I only saw one kid on her ultrasound. She is due March 15th.

Bluebelle has been bred to Mr. Black-the only doe that Mr. Black bred this year. He is too related to my other does on lines I don't I want to inbreed more on. Also, he is not turning out how I anticipated, so I will probably be selling him.

I saw 1 for sure, and maybe 2. She is due March 19th.

This is the tie for my most exciting breeding/kidding. Eclipse was bred AI to a really nice French buck whose lines I really love. I will be keeping the doe kids.

Aizumi-he has wattles so maybe the kids will have them too! 

I saw two on her, but couldn't get them in same frame, so here is one. It's possible there was a third kid, but I couldn't tell for sure. She is due March 16th.

Sonnet is bred to Bentley. I was happy to see that she settled so easily! Last year, she got sick, almost died, and aborted her pregnancy. My fear was that she had never fully "cleaned out" and would be hard to breed again.

I verified two kids on her, and you can see both in this shot. She is due March 15th.

 

Clare was AI bred to two different, really nice bucks. Her kids will be French Alpine.

I only have a picture of one of the bucks-this is Manny.

I only verified one on her, but am hopeful that there is more than that-she is earlier than the other does, so I will check her again next week. She is due 25th.
