Happy 4th Of July!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Independence Day as I did! Appropriately, I've just finished the section of my school on The Declaration Of Independence. I'm now onto the Constitution-I've found out that I am very uneducated in Civics. I kind of used to pride myself that I knew quite a bit. Hadn't even scratched the surface yet.

The Goldendale Community Days was last weekend too. I went to the Farmer's Market, brought Duke swimming in the Little Klickitat, watched the parade from the courthouse lawn, and won a silent auction. The picture below shows the basket of goodies I won as well as the dogs who will enjoy them.

I met Eric and Debbie in The Dalles and watched fireworks that evening. I got one picture.
