Chloe had 2 bucks and a doe on March 28th at 18:00. The first boy was born dead-she took to long to have him. The kidding was very hard as she is so small and the kids were eight pounds each-the biggest set of triplets we've ever had. She is leaving this farm soon. I don't think she should ever be bred to a standard size buck again-maybe a Nigerian or pygmy would be good. The kids' names are Elizabeth and Elliot.
Sari kidded on March 31st at 5:00 with two does. They are unnamed. The first pictures are of them.
Desi's kids-Lulubelle in the front, Bonnie in the back.
Elliot
Sari's again.
Chloe, Elliot and Elizabeth.
Sari's again. Although I despise Nubians, the kids are adorable with airplane ears.
Also, I wanted to put a vide of the kids playing but it isn't done processing yet. I'll post it when it is done I guess.
Daisy and Theda are due April 15th and 16th respectively. I think triplets for both. Daisy's kids will be bottle-fed as she is leaving as soon as possible after kidding.
It has been beautiful here-60 to 70 degrees although windy. The cherry trees are blooming along with everything else-I'll have to get pictures sometime.
Judy gave me about 30 raspberry plants so I'd better go get them planted! Except I have no clue where to plant them......
P.S. If you see any mistakes in the grammar or such like of my posts, let me know. Besides the fact that I normally don't see the mistakes that are purely my fault anyway, this computer is going gunnybags and the keyboard keeps acting up-not listening to my commands or only halfway, and putting things that don't belong.
Thank you for your time are courtesy.
Haha! I'm glad I'm not alone in disliking Nubs! No offense to any Nubians or Nubian breeders :)
