After sickness postponed our family Christmas get together, we finally were able to have it last Sunday(not like yesterday, but over a week ago.) I snapped some pictures, but totally forgot to take any of the delicious ham dinner and desserts!
There are so many people that I won't bother trying to name all the folks in the more populated pictures-most of you know who they are all anyway.
Jaxon and Landyn checking out the gifts they received from the cousins' name drawing.
Mason and the huge snake his person got him. Eww!
I think Carl hit the motherlode with this basket!
A custom started some years ago is to bunch up all the wrapping paper and have a war after opening presents. I wasn't able to get any action shots(though Brittany got a great slo-mo of one bull's-eye shot), so here is just a picture of Justin taking aim at his adversary.
Krista had been down from Christmas to New Year's, but when the gathering was postponed, she had to head home regardless, and couldn't join in person, so she joined via Skype. (Justin is helping her participate in the wrapping paper fight, I believe.)
Folks checking out their gifts while Aaron is tickled, for some reason, with the shot he just received from an enemy party.
The women decided that we needed a picture of all the nephews and nieces. I agreed, but was not willing to become part of the driving force to arrange that many little kids on the couch and get them looking decent. Alyssa, Jennifer, and Debbie were able to handle it phenomenally, without my help.
The end result. They behaved extremely well, and there wasn't even any babies screaming-seems that they usually always do when being posed for group pictures.
Thus our Christmas festivities are finally over, and we feel like we can relax and focus on the New Year now!
All those kids have grown so much since I've seen them (and still 5 months till next time) wahhh, wahhh
