The wildflowers across the road aren't quite at their peak yet, but I didn't want to wait another day. I took Jinger and Bonny over this morning and got some shots.
Lupine and Balsamroot
A type of Phlox, which I like to imagine is Queen Anne's Lace. I was very disappointed when I saw what Queen Anne's Lace was, for the first time-I don't find it pleasing at all, when the name seems to indicate that it is very pretty.
These next are not wild, but are pretty just the same.
Our Plum Blossom Trees, which are one of my favorites. They are pretty, and have a mild, sweet scent.
A Tulip tree, also a Magnolia, I believe.
Stay tuned for tons more pictures!
