The Pasture's Growing Good!

The pasture is already getting pretty tall! I've been taking Dora and her kids, Flicka, and Marion up every morning for 30 minutes or so, so that they can get acclimated to the first fresh grass they've had in months. 

This morning, Gideon and Joshua decided they weren't coming and played around in the barnyard instead. 

 

I got some duck eggs yesterday! I'm planning on raising, eating and selling Ancona ducks, eggs, and ducklings, and decided the best route of getting started was to order some eggs are hatch them myself. I'll be getting Buff Orpington chicken eggs next week to hatch as well.
